Hi guys,

Please can you confirm whether or not an output log has been generated in the location as listed in the How to: Submit a Bug Ticket article?

Can you also confirm at what point you're seeing this crash occur, is it after the splash screen which displays the game logo, before that or during a loading screen?

Hope we can get you back in the game soon.

Lee

Hi Nicco,

The hotfix should be live on the standard Steam branch now. You should automatically receive the update but if not just try verifying your cache on Steam. :)

Cheers,

Lee

Fairly sure they're just not meant to be targetable :) We'll look at it for the next major patch.

You're welcome we'll keep you informed.

Hi MajHerbHead,

I'm curious about the fact that this may infact have been resolved by our changes in 1.4.2f5. Could you give the latest version of the game a try and let me know if you're still suffering from this issue?

Thanks for this great documentation Jhk Ahu, I successfully replicated the issue in the office based on your feedback.

I believe that what's happening here is caused by the fact that the unit bar when scaled will disappear if any part of it moves over screen space. Normally this is fine as it's scaled for each resolution but there are a few exceptions.

As such the higher you scale your UI the quicker it will disappear at 102% on standard 16:9 or 4:3 displays the UI disappears just as the scrolling arrow is added. I believe that Stefan could not replicate as he previously used a very wide resolution, so the screen space available was wide enough to allow the unit bar to extend without going over.

I'll pass this on to Stefan.

Hi Policeofficer110,

Thanks for your interest, I've forwarded this on as something for us to consider for a patch further down the line.

At the moment there's no technical precedent in War for the Overworld for adding subtitles to a video so we'd have to devise a new solution. To expand on that, currently subtitles are displayed when the Audio Controller plays an audio file, however the cinematic are video files with audio attached. As such no file is played by the Audio Controller and no subtitle can be displayed.

We'll look into it :)

Pence is the best.

Rally flags apply this behaviour already because it engages an AI mode where the unit is looking to fight. If they're not actively looking to fight they'll consider their needs much more.

Yes if you're suffering from this issue please report it separately. We'll need full details as this was well and truly fixed a long time ago :)
