What type of door were they attacking? Anything special about it and what level were you playing on?

Double checked as well and can confirm this is working as intended.

Highly likely to require more work to add that exception than to fix the behaviour of the Arena and it's a non-issue if it is fixed. I talked to the coder responsible today and it's indeed an edge case. Units should only leave the arena to a rally flag if they can path to the flag.


Because they can path to the flag when they're in the arena with it they leave the arena to try and get to the flag, but then they can no longer path to it.

Hmmm yes I agree with Andrew here, I think a new line would be a good addition for a future patch. Technically this isn't a bug just an absence of anything else appropriate.


I'll submit it internally as an improvement for a future major patch.

So having thought on this for a while. I think that we'll leave this for now, whatever she's doing is part of the skirmish AI which is receiving a complete overhaul anyway. If she still does it after that happens then we'll want to look into it further but until then we'll leave it be.

Could also be a remnant from when you had to activate Replacement Walls but that was definitely before patch 1.2. If you can't stop the replacement wall appearing then the tool-tip is incorrect and should simply have the last section removed.

Not 100% convinced it's major enough to warrant fixing, maybe making a little bit faster?

The Bombard on Overdrive who is hitting something will love HP, the Bombard which doesn't hit something (just the imp. Wall) will not lose HP.
Those Bombards shoot without hitting the door.

I double checked your report, and Bombards on overdrive with a Rampart Blueprint with some defences, does also lose HP.
