Holy crapola! That's a lot of units! :O

Are you by chance able to upload a log of this session and maybe a save file of the level in that state?

Thanks for taking the time to look into the problem yourself and try known solutions already. I can see the issue in the log - Our UI subsystem isn't correctly running on the Nvidia GPU. I have pasted and highlighted the important part of the FAQ instructions that should help you resolve this:

  1. Open Nvidia control panel
  2. Select 3D Settings and reset your settings to default
  3. Select "Program Settings" tab from the 3D Settings menu
  4. Add WFTOGame.exe from your WFTO Directory (You can find this by rightcliking the game in steam, going to properties and clicking "Browse local files")
  5. In addition be sure to add "CoherentUI_Host.exe" with the same settings below.
  6. Select "High-performance Nvidia Processor" as the preferred graphic processor as above.

Please do let us know if this does not resolve it for you.

Hey guys. This bug should be fixed now in v1.4.0f6

Hi Attila,

Can you try setting the texture resolution in the graphics options to a lower value? It could be that you're running out of memory.

We released hotfix v1.4.0f6 yesterday that should resolve this issue for you guys. Let us know if that is not the case.

Don't worries, hope you have fun. :)

We have been able to reproduce this bug internally and will be looking at a fix this week.

Ah we've found a potential bug in your log file! We'll get back to you once we've looked at the issue in more detail.

You have a very small amount of RAM (4GB is our minimum). My guess is that its running out of memory, and when that happens Windows falls back to using the hard drive as memory, which is extremely slow.

The best thing you can do to avoid that for now is reduce the texture resolution size (When you get in there after the hotfix).

Yep there is a resolution bug for some users we're working on right this moment. You can manually fix this by editing the resolution in the Options.txt file found in the game install location (Usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\War For The Overworld\WFTOGame_Data\GameData).

If you're happy to wait, we intend to have a hotfix for this problem out within the next few hours or so.
